Thanks to the timely interventions of Silvers Rayleigh and Bartholomew Kuma, the Straw Hats managed to escape a dire situation. Without their help, Kizaru could have easily captured the entire crew and imprisoned them in Impel Down. This traumatic past spurs Luffy and his crew to confront Kizaru with renewed determination.
