During the Nintendo Direct livestream on April 2, the company focused exclusively on its upcoming product lineup. The Switch 2 will debut globally on June 5, with a starting price of $449 for the base model. This package will include a 256GB console, two Joy-Con 2 controllers, a Dock, an HDMI cable, and a USB-C power adapter, allowing gamers to jump right into their gaming experience. For an additional $50, a premium bundle is available for $499, which includes a digital voucher for Mario Kart World. To facilitate pre-orders and help gamers avoid scalpers, Nintendo has introduced an email registration system for securing the Switch 2.
