Mackenzie McKee Shares Personal Insights on Her Pregnancy Journey
Mackenzie, already a mother to three children—7-year-old Broncs, 10-year-old Jaxie, and 13-year-old Gannon—whom she shares with ex-partner Josh McKee, is now preparing for a new chapter in her life following a documented in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey on the reality series.
During this episode, Mackenzie proudly showcased her baby bump alongside fellow co-star Briana DeJesus while also reflecting on her recent IVF experiences. Earlier this month in the reality show, Mackenzie underwent a double embryo transfer, although the success of this procedure remained unknown to viewers at that time.
The segment included a visual demonstration using spoons to explain the possibility of conceiving multiple children, where Mackenzie noted the odds of an even larger family:
“There’s a two percent chance that these both split into two different babies. Now you got four,”she stated.
On March 21, Mackenzie also shared a poignant post on her Instagram account showcasing her during the transfer, accompanied by a cryptic yet hopeful message:
“Don’t always know what the next chapter looks like, but excited to take this journey with you all!”
In a follow-up post dated March 22, Mackenzie opened up about her decision to pursue IVF after having undergone a tubal ligation at the age of 21. After meeting Khesanio, she realized her desire to “complete [her] family”by welcoming a new child.
Mackenzie also candidly reflected on her co-parenting dynamic with ex-partner Josh. She discussed the challenges faced in their familial relationships, implying her disappointment with Josh’s level of involvement. Conversely, she praised Khesanio for his dedication to their children:
“What I want is for Josh to be more involved in their lives, but he’s just not. These kids love their dad, but Khes is also a dad now and he is consistency and he’s been solid for two years,”she explained. “Josh and I were together for 10 years. I can’t even tell you a month that my kids had something that was solid.”
Since their beachside engagement in 2024, Mackenzie and Khesanio have been focused on expanding their family and planning their wedding.
