On March 16, 2025, Danielle, a member of NJZ, took to the group’s official Instagram account to share an eye-opening video about the stringent rules that trainees are expected to adhere to. At just 19 years old, she described the intensive training environment, rigid schedules, strict dietary restrictions, and the limited personal freedom that trainees face.
“You had to leave a message before you were able to go to the toilet, and this was even in free time. You were constantly being watched over when you were in the practice room, so you didn’t have much freedom at all. I remember having to take pictures of what I ate before I was actually able to consume it. I had to send pictures to our manager, and she would have to check it,” NJZ’s Danielle shared.
Danielle highlighted her encounter with Min Hee-jin, the former CEO of ADOR, who was reportedly taken aback by the rigorous conditions trainees endure. Min Hee-jin’s involvement led to a reevaluation of these rules, promoting a more creative and supportive atmosphere for the group.

During the court session, while each member shared their thoughts, Danielle’s statements garnered significant attention as she expressed solidarity with Min Hee-jin:
“We are sensitive to the condition of each member, so we are concerned about getting hurt or sick. What I want to say is that we are a team of six (including CEO Min Hee-jin) although five people will be on the stage. The CEO was attacked and ridiculous articles poured out, and I was afraid of losing it. I want to continue to be with the CEO in the future,”Danielle stated (reported by MK).
