Nintendo Switch 2 Officially Confirms Project 007 Release

IO Interactive has officially announced that Project 007, their highly anticipated video game centered around the legendary James Bond franchise, will be available on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. This exciting revelation was made during the Nintendo Direct event on April 2, 2025.

During the presentation, IO Interactive took the opportunity to highlight their popular title, Hitman World of Assassination, set to launch on the new platform. The developers tantalized fans by adding:

“Plus, we are excited to bring another familiar Agent to the platform.”

While the teaser for Project 007 was brief, it effectively confirmed the game’s arrival on the Switch 2.
