A video circulating online alleges that NCT Taeyong was seen smoking on the streets of Japan, leading to a widespread discussion
Netizens raised concerns about whether Taeyong was smoking in a designated smoking area. According to some, smoking on Japanese streets is generally illegal and could result in fines unless conducted in areas specifically allocated for smokers.
Various opinions emerged among netizens. Some argued that if Taeyong was smoking illegally, he should face consequences. Others expressed a desire for Korea to implement stricter regulations on street smoking, mentioning anecdotes about Japanese citizens carrying portable ashtrays due to stringent laws.
