Created by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (also referred to as Illegals) launched on April 7. This is particularly exciting for viewers in English-speaking regions, as the anime features a simultaneous English dub, along with versions in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Italian.
The announcement also came with the revelation of the English dub cast, while original creator Kohei Horikoshi celebrated the anime adaptation with a special illustration depicting the main character Koichi Haimawari in a pose reminiscent of Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Returning Voice Actors for Episode 1



The anime adaptation of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is produced by Studio Bones’ subsidiary, Bones Film, directed by Kenichi Suzuki. The script is penned by Yōsuke Kuroda, while Takahiko Yoshida oversees character designs. Art direction is managed by Yukihiro Watanabe, with photography led by Yingying Zhang. The series’ vibrant color palette is designed by Haruko Nobori, and the score features contributions from Shōgo Yamashiro, Yūki Furuhashi, and Yuki Hayashi.
