BTS’ Jin Unveils Concept Photos for New Album “ECHO”
On April 11, BTS member Jin shared a series of striking concept photos in anticipation of his second solo studio album, titled ECHO. In these visually captivating images, he flaunted a bold black mullet hairstyle complemented by a stylish ensemble featuring torn flared blue jeans, a classic white shirt, and a denim jacket. His look was accentuated with formal red shoes, creating an eye-catching contrast against a backdrop of deep reddish hues, with some shots set indoors.
The release of these concept photos sent waves of excitement through his fanbase, who were not only enamored with his aesthetic choices but also thrilled to see the return of his mullet hairstyle. This hairdo had previously graced his first solo album, Happy, where he sported a blond mullet.

Jin’s Recent Solo Activities
Since his discharge from mandatory military service in June 2024, Jin has quickly resumed his career. The day after his release, he organized a Hug Event for 1,000 ARMY fans selected through a Weverse raffle to commemorate BTS’ 11th anniversary.
In July 2024, Jin was honored as South Korea’s representative for the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch Relay, marking a historic moment as the first South Korean singer to receive this title. This memorable event took place on July 14, right in front of the iconic Louvre Museum. Shortly after, he launched his own variety show, RUN JIN, which was inspired by BTS’ beloved show, RUN BTS.
New episodes of RUN JIN were made available weekly on BTS’ official YouTube channel and through Weverse. November saw the release of his first studio album, Happy, which features six tracks with the lead single “Running Wild.”Additionally, Jin contributed an OST titled “Close To You” for the K-drama series When The Stars Gossip in January 2025.
Moreover, he currently endorses three brands: Gucci, FRED, and Jin Ramen. Most recently, Jin announced the upcoming release of his second solo album, ECHO, set to debut on May 12.
