The main objective of the quest is to unlock a large gate adorned with engravings of the three cats. However, before you can unlock this gate, you must capture all three cats and bring them to their designated spot. Here’s how you can track down each feline:
Locating the Cats
- Pink Cat: Follow the pink paw prints leading to a house. Jump between platforms and along the witches’ brooms to reach the next island. Use floating lanterns to maneuver towards the house’s other side, where you will find a ladder. Climbing it will lead you to a chest needing multiple kicks to open. Once the chest is opened, the pink cat will begin to follow you. Escort it back to the main gate to complete this segment.
- Green Cat: Next, track the green cat’s footprints to discover a closed door featuring a cat design made of yellow and blue lines. To unlock the door, press the right trigger on your controller to grow flowers on the ground. One player must align the yellow flowers to match the door’s design, while the other will grow the blue flowers. Once the door opens, remove the mushroom from the green cat inside. Afterward, traverse a series of floating bubbles to bring the green cat back to the gate.
- Blue Cat: Follow the blue cat’s trail to find a small bear. Collect the lanterns it offers and continue to the end of the footprints, where you will encounter yellow and blue floating platforms. Both players must coordinate their climbing to reach the other side. There, you’ll find a harp; the player wearing the blue hat must play it to lull the sleeping giant cat nearby.
