Monster Hunter has long captivated players with its visually stunning designs and extensive customization options that allow for a unique hunter appearance. Monster Hunter Wilds continues this legacy, offering a range of features that enable players to personalize their hunting experience.
One notable feature is the layered armor system, which allows you to mix and match various armor sets, ensuring your character not only stands out aesthetically but also maintains an effective gameplay build. In addition to armor modifications, Monster Hunter Wilds introduces pendants—decorative accessories that enhance your character’s style.
Acquiring and Equipping Pendants

Pendants serve as ornamental additions to both your weapons and Skikret. At the beginning of your adventure, players will have access to several variations of the Hope Pendant. As you progress through the narrative, additional designs become available, including the unique Dragontorch Wings pendant and the Arkveld: Mark of Resolve pendant.
Moreover, a variety of pendants are accessible through paid DLC. For instance, the Avian Wind Chime can be acquired separately or through the deluxe edition of the game. Other decorative options, such as the Fairy Light and Dancing Cat pendants, are also offered as individual purchases or within Pendant Sets.
Players can earn certain pendants by completing side quests and challenges. For example, finishing the Succulent Scraps side mission grants the Azuz: Mark of Gratitude pendant, while the Kut-Ku Plushie pendant can be obtained by completing the High Quality Materials mission. For those tackling the new Doshaguma of the Hollow challenge quest, participating will earn the Doshaguma: Mark of Contest pendant, whereas a rank within the top 10,000 players will yield the Doshaguma: Mark of Mastery pendant. Future updates are anticipated to introduce more challenges and rewards, keeping the quest for pendants engaging.
The recently introduced Barrel Bowling mode, located in the Grand Hub, features two unique pendants. Players can claim the Barrel Bowling Strap pendant after their initial playthrough of the game mode, while achieving an A rank will earn them the Barrel Bowling Trophy pendant. Additionally, the Stuffed Feylene Teddy pendant is available to players who participated in the open beta.
Once you’ve acquired your desired pendants, equipping them is simple. While at any camp tent, navigate to the Change Armor Appearance tab to add your pendants to your weapons; you’ll find the option at the bottom of your equipped gear list. To customize your Seikret with pendants, select the Customize Seikret option within the same tab. This allows you to apply any pendants you possess to your companion, enhancing both their look and your gameplay experience.
