Unveiled during the Minecraft Live event on March 22, 2025, this limited-time celebration invites players to engage in mini-games inspired by the film while they defend Midport Village against an onslaught of piglins.
Players who tackle all daily challenges will receive the coveted Yearn Cape, making this event an essential experience for any Minecraft enthusiast.
A Minecraft Movie Live Event: Overview of Challenges
The A Minecraft Movie Live Event will take place from March 25, 2025, to April 7, 2025. To join in on the fun, players should open the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft and select the “Play Movie Event” option. Please note that a content download of 70 MB will be required. This event features a series of six quests designed to immerse players in the cinematic universe.
Day 1 Quest Breakdown
On the first day, players will complete three distinct tasks related to Wilderness, Mines, and Outer Walls, culminating in the reward of the Boots of Swiftness.
Wilderness Challenge: Delivering 5 Carts
Initiate the Wilderness task by conversing with Natalie and Dawn. Your mission is to successfully transport five carts through treacherous wilderness teeming with piglins, illagers, and various hostile mobs. Team cooperation is crucial; communicate with your teammates, employ shields effectively, and remain agile to counter threats.
Mines Challenge: Retrieve 100 Ores
After conquering the Wilderness, head over to Henry to access the Mines. Descend to Level 1 and aim to collect 100 ores, including iron, coal, and redstone. Be vigilant for attacking mobs during your mining endeavors. Keep in mind that if you get defeated, you will lose your collected resources, so it is advisable to return to the elevator periodically to heal and deposit ores.
Outer Walls Challenge: Defend Against 5 Waves
Commence the Outer Walls defense mission by speaking to Garret. In this tower defense-style challenge, you must protect the Outer Walls from five waves of advancing piglins. Utilize your bow and arrows judiciously, stay clear of cannon fire, and secure the high ground for improved targeting challenges.
