Enhancements and Bug Fixes
Leashing Updates
The functionality of leads has been expanded significantly, enabling players to create chains of leashed entities.
Elytra Changes
- Utilizing Firework Rockets while flying with an Elytra will now cause any leashed mobs to unleash.
Leash Knots
- Entities can now attach themselves to existing Leash Knots through interaction.
- Players can reclaim entities connected to a Leash Knot through interaction.
- Leash Knots can be removed using shears.
Linking Leashing Entities
Players can leash any leashable entity to another. The steps are as follows:
- First, leash the target entity to yourself.
- Sneak and interact with the target while holding the leash.
- Leashed entities can be reclaimed by leashing them again, transferring ownership to the player.
- If the distance would cause the leash to break immediately, re-leashing cannot occur.
- Llamas will no longer attempt to form caravans when connected to each other.
- Note: Baby mobs can only leash one-way to other entities.
Physics Improvements
Leashable entities now demonstrate more natural movements when being pulled:
- Horses, Camels, and similar entities will adjust their positions gradually when leashed to a Happy Ghast.
- All entities align more smoothly to the direction of being pulled, preventing erratic behavior when suspended mid-air.
- Boats now follow similar physics to other entities, improving their interaction while leashed.
- The leash break distance has been increased to 12 blocks, or 16 blocks when attached to a Happy Ghast.
Graphical Enhancements
- Boats and larger mobs, when attached to a Happy Ghast, will now appear with multiple leashes for better visual clarity.
- This includes a custom rope layer on the Happy Ghast itself.
Shearing Leashed Entities
- Players can use shears on leashed entities to remove leash connections.
- Dispensers can unleash entities with shears as well.
Block and Graphic Updates
- The rarity of the Dried Ghast block is now common, in line with its ingredients.
- Fixed several issues related to lighting in the Vibrant Visuals setting, enhancing overall graphical quality.
