On April 2, 2025, Netflix unveiled the second set of episodes for its highly-anticipated competition series, Million Dollar Secret. The reality show features an exciting lineup of 12 contestants, all competing under the guidance of host Peter Serafinowicz. As the competition unfolds, one contestant stands the chance to win a hefty cash prize of one million dollars, while the others are tasked with eliminating them along the way.
The series comprises eight episodes in total, starting with the first three episodes aired on March 26. Subsequent episodes, specifically episodes 4 to 6, were introduced on April 2, and the series finale, consisting of episodes 7 and 8, is slated for release on April 9.
In a unique twist, the millionaire contestant is covertly assigned missions by the host, maintaining their alias as they navigate through the challenges. A notable moment occurred in episode six, where contestants faced off in a guessing game aimed at distinguishing between a real dish and a decoy. Accurately completing this challenge would grant them passage to the trophy room, which contains a vital secret about the millionaire.
Recap of Million Dollar Secret Episode 6
Episode six continued from the dramatic fallout of the previous episode, where contestant Lydia was voted out, a decision executed by the millionaire after gaining control. The remaining contestants speculated about the vote, recalling that Jaimi claimed responsibility for voting Lydia out—a statement she staunchly defended.
In a strategic maneuver, Samantha, the actual millionaire, attempted to fuel suspicion against Jaimi by convincing other contestants that Jaimi was the one holding the millionaire title.
“I can’t let them know that I’m the millionaire. And for now, Jaimi’s my shield because she’s the only one that spoke out and said she voted for Lydia,”expressed Samantha.
While only Chris figured out that Samantha was the millionaire, he opted to keep this revelation to himself, instead claiming he voted for Sydnee. This resulted in growing paranoia among the contestants, particularly for Sydnee, as she conversed with other players about Chris’s unclear motives.
Meanwhile, Peter assigned a covert mission to Samantha, who successfully convinced three other contestants to utter the phrase “Justin Timberlake”without producing any song lyrics.
The seven remaining contestants gathered in the chandelier room for their initial challenge. Teams were divided into two groups: Cara, Sam, Corey, and Chris against Sydnee, Jaimi, and Kyle.
The challenge set forth a test of perception, featuring two nearly identical dishes—one crafted from undesirable ingredients while the other was authentic. Ultimately, the team of four managed to mislead the opposition, granting them a visit to the trophy room, where they could uncover a secret about the millionaire.
During the festivities, Jaimi again insisted that she was not the millionaire, yet this assertion failed to persuade her peers. Samantha capitalized on this distraction, enabling her to navigate the game without drawing attention to her true identity.
“There’s no logical reasoning to be focused on me. None… Somebody’s lying about their vote. Because this is so surface and easy,”Jaimi commented.
Post-challenge, the winning team opted to send Corey into the trophy room, where he discovered Jaimi’s box holding no money. Upset, Corey proposed that Chris might be their next suspicion due to his peculiar behavior. Subsequently, Peter assigned Corey a new covert task to ensure the million dollars would go to someone else should he succeed in getting any contestant to say, “911, misdemeanor, and handcuffs.”
As Corey approached the others, he hinted that those phrases were clues towards identifying the millionaire. When it came time for elimination, a majority of contestants, swayed by the ongoing dynamics, voted for Chris to leave the competition, prompting an emotional farewell as he exited the stage.
The thrilling first six episodes of Million Dollar Secret are currently streaming on Netflix.
