Heartwarming Reunion: Jin and j-hope Brighten Fans’ Day with Humor
The vibrant fandom of BTS was recently treated to a touching and humorous moment between members Jin and j-hope. This delightful encounter occurred backstage during j-hope’s much-anticipated concert for his HOPE ON THE STAGE world tour in Seoul. A charming behind-the-scenes video, shared on April 9, 2025, captured the two artists in a candid exchange that quickly won over fans globally.
In the video, Jin made a surprise visit to j-hope just moments before the concert was about to begin. In a bid to encourage his younger bandmate, Jin enthusiastically reminded j-hope:
“Seven minutes to go, j-hope!”
In response, j-hope humorously echoed the countdown, leading to laughter as Jin pointed out his friend’s persistent “military mode”demeanor following his discharge from military service in October 2024. J-hope acknowledged his habit of using drill instructor lingo even on his first day back, sharing:
“You’re right. It surprised me too. You know I talked in military mode the first day? I was like ‘Safety is top priority, understood?’ And I didn’t even notice. Only realized after I came down.”
This playful interaction soon went viral, resonating with fans who appreciated the humor in adjusting back to civilian life post-military service. Many comments reflected a sense of familiarity with their experiences. One fan remarked:
“They got military jokes too. They’re just like us.”
“Yeah we’re gonna get so much military related jokes from all of them,”another fan mentioned.
“I know it’s a rough time for my 7 boys but I really want to see them talk about their experiences AND also brag about their strengths through challenges (in a fun, not traumatizing way),”shared one netizen.
“I love how beside Jin, Hobi goes back to being a small bean with a huge aura,”wrote another fan.
This lighthearted banter about j-hope’s adjustment to life after the military sparked a wave of emotional responses from ARMYs worldwide. Many shared their reflections and sentiments:
“Oh, we got a tiny glimpse of the military life aftermath. Hobi found himself being in military mode while preparing for his tour, even using his Drill Instructor voice on the first day. I hope it’s not something hard to manage for him,”said one ARMY member.
“I love my tannies so bad, seeing them interact does something to me and my pathetic heart,”expressed another fan.
“I missed them so much,”added a netizen.
