Jason Isaacs to Receive Precious Gem Award at Miami Film Festival
Jason Isaacs, the distinguished British actor known for his compelling performances, is set to be honored with the Precious Gem Award at the upcoming Miami Film Festival. This prestigious accolade will be presented on Thursday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. ET, during a special ceremony at the Chapman Center of Miami Dade College, as announced by the festival organizers.
About the Precious Gem Award
The Precious Gem Award recognizes unique artists whose impact on cinema remains both enduring and remarkable. Among past recipients are cinematic luminaries such as Pedro Almodóvar, Penélope Cruz, Isabelle Huppert, Rita Moreno, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Sebastian Stan. The award will be presented to Isaacs following a reflective career interview, which will be recorded live for future airing on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, hosted by yours truly.
Jason Isaacs: A Luminary in Film and Television
At 61 years old, Isaacs boasts an impressive portfolio, having been nominated for numerous awards including the Golden Globe, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild, International Emmy, Critics Choice, and London Critics Circle accolades.
