“Making Him Smaller”: xQc Critiques Adin Ross for Deleting His X Community

Félix “xQc”Lengyel, a prominent figure in the streaming community, has voiced his criticism regarding Adin Ross’s recent decision to dismantle his X community. Ross described this move as an attempt to “change, adapt, and mature,”coinciding with his efforts to enhance his brand image and pursue an unban on Twitch, amid speculation about his potential departure from Kick.

Ultimately, Ross chose to remain on Kick rather than transition back to Twitch, even after his unban there. His choice has allowed him to maintain regular collaborations with various Twitch streamers and friends, a luxury he was previously denied due to Twitch’s anti-ban circumvention policies.

xQc Calls Out Ross’s Decision to Delete X Community

In his commentary on this controversy, xQc dismissed Ross’s choice to eliminate the X community as a “braindead one,”arguing that:

“I think most people were pushing him to delete it ’cause it’s just like, they know how big of an asset it is, and how important it is for the community or whatever, and it’s just like a way to make him smaller. I think it’s f**king stupid. I think it’s just braindead that Adin did that.”

This conflict drew attention to the decision made by Ross, who had disbanded his X community, known as AR Loyals, in December 2024. At that time, he asserted he was making strides in the “right direction”and intended to focus on personal growth. He also expressed gratitude towards his audience for their understanding of the “healthy reasoning”behind this change.

Moreover, xQc recalled a remark from fellow streamer Tyler “TrainwrecksTV,”who hinted that Ross faced external pressure to delete his community:

“I saw some comment by Train like a while back saying that Adin got pressured to like, delete his community, shit like that.”

Notably, fellow streamer HasanAbi also showed support for Ross’s decision, suggesting it was a “solid first step”while criticizing the community as being populated by “most freak-like Nazis.”

As streaming platforms continue to evolve, the dynamics between streamer communities and the platforms themselves remain crucial for influencers and their audiences alike. Understanding the implications of these decisions can shape viewers’ perceptions and ultimately affect the future pathways of streamers like Adin Ross.
