Initiating the Fallen Soldiers Quest in AC Shadows
The quest titled “Fallen Soldiers“becomes accessible right after you triumph over the Ox. However, players should note that the first target you will encounter is at level 43, presenting a significant challenge if you’re not adequately leveled up. The game seems to consider players ready to tackle this level when they are around 3-4 levels below the target.
Completing the Ox Defeat Mission

Genzaburo’s Swordsman can be found at Nagusano Falls, located in Mount Kasagata, west of Mitsunodo Hall in Engjyoji. To reach him, travel west down the hill from Mitsunodo Hall, where he awaits on a red bridge spanning the river. |
Rewards for this target include Inari’s Bounty Epic Long Katana, Critical Chance with Combo Ender Engraving, 280 Mon, and a Genzaburo’s Threatening Letter. |

The Teppo Expert |
Upon investigating the murder scene, you’ll locate Genzaburo’s Teppo Expert at the Kaya Shrine in the west of Mount Kasagata, Harima. He is seated behind the shrine, in the process of cleaning his teppo. Be prepared for a confrontation with several bandits present at the shrine. |
Defeating him rewards players with the Wave of Wasps Legendary Teppo, Larger Explosive Surprise Legendary Engraving, 370 Mon, and a Letter Regarding the Poisoner. |

The Poisoner dwells within Osaka Castle’s Nishinomaru Garden. While performing on the Biwa, she is vulnerable to an assassination that can deplete a substantial portion of her health. Access the area using the crack in the wall to engage her. |

After returning to speak with Koshiro, you can track down Genzaburo at Zuiganji Temple in Himeji, Harima. Note that only Naoe can interact with both Koshiro and Genzaburo, making her the sole participant in the concluding battle. |
Your final rewards will be the Tactician’s Steel Epic Long Katana, Adrenaline on Consecutive Kills Engraving, Archery Range Outdoor Cosmetic, and 290 Mon. |
