Where to Find Chess Pieces Outside the Dreadnaught in Destiny 2

1) Eris’ Flat

To the left of the Shaping Slab.
On a table in the central open hall.
Outside of Eris’ apartment, up the stairs by a pair of hooded civilians.
Head downstairs, where you will find a piece behind the cleaning robot.

Once you’ve gathered these, proceed to the Tower to find more pieces.

2) The Tower

Here’s where to locate the chess pieces in the Tower:

Take the elevator down to Zavala’s office, and upon entering, look to your right for the first chess piece.
In the Annex, walk past the Drifter and check beneath the shelf on your left.
At the Hangar, ascend the yellow steps leading to a silver tunnel that opens into a red room. The chess piece is to the right upon entering.

3) Europa

Seek out these chess pieces in the Europa region:

Start at the Beyond waypoint, then head past the Exo Stranger toward the north-east, where a pawn piece awaits.
Venture inside the Bray Facility near Clovis Bray’s giant Exo head; the piece can be found in the center of the room.

4) EDZ

Here are the last two chess piece locations outside the Dreadnaught:

Spawn at Winding Cove and go to the left cliff of the main road, walking through the ledge to discover the chess piece.
Teletransport to the Sludge waypoint, then head into the Dark Forest. Once you find a Taken Anomaly rising from the ground, the chess piece will be directly in front of it.
