Latest Developments on the Persona 4 Remake
- The anticipated announcement of a Persona 4 remake is set to take place at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase.
- Microsoft confirmed the schedule for this major gaming event, which will occur on June 8.
- Gamers can expect the Persona 4 remake to be available from day one on Xbox Game Pass.
According to recent information from a well-known leaker, a remake of Persona 4 might be officially announced in June 2025. This news has generated considerable excitement among Atlus fans, many of whom have been eagerly awaiting announcements regarding new Persona titles.
Adding fuel to the speculation, a mysterious party registered the domain p4re.jp in Japan in late March 2025. This action has reignited the discussions about a potential Persona 4 remake. Interestingly, a similar domain was registered in March 2023, shortly before Atlus revealed Persona 3 Reload.
Spanish YouTuber and reliable Microsoft insider Extas1s has suggested that the announcement for the Persona 4 remake will coincide with the Xbox Games Showcase, scheduled for June 8, thereby hinting at a significant reveal for fans.

Historically, most titles in the Persona series, with the exception of Persona 5, have been announced close to their release dates. For instance, the intervals between the announcements and releases of Persona 5 Tactica and Persona 3 Reload were approximately five and eight months, respectively. Consequently, if the Persona 4 remake is unveiled on June 8, it could be available by the holiday season of 2025 or early in 2026.

Persona 4 Remake Expected as a Day-One Xbox Game Pass Title
Insider Extas1s has also indicated that the Persona 4 remake will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. The previous two entries in the series, Persona 5 Tactica and Persona 3 Reload, were also launched on the platform during their release. In addition to the Xbox release, the Persona 4 remake is likely to be accessible on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, reflecting Atlus’s trend towards multi-platform games.
While there is significant excitement around the Persona 4 remake, it may not align with what all fans have been hoping for. Many have their sights set on Persona 6, one of the most highly awaited JRPGs, with only a vague confirmation from Atlus back in July 2021 about its development.
