Lar Park Lincoln, the talented actress renowned for her role as Linda Fairgate in the iconic prime-time soap opera Knots Landing, has sadly passed away at the age of 63. The news was released by her Texas-based business, Actors Audition Studios, via a Facebook post that confirmed her death on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Although specific details regarding her passing have not been disclosed, it is known that Lincoln had been courageously battling breast cancer since the late 2000s, enduring multiple surgeries throughout her struggle. The Actors Audition Studios tribute expressed her lasting impact on Hollywood:

“Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.”

Lar’s career was marked by her strong affinity for horror films and compelling television dramas. She notably appeared in popular sequels such as House II: The Second Story and Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. Her extensive acting portfolio also includes guest roles in classic shows like Freddy’s Nightmares, Hunter, and Murder, She Wrote.

Her Personal Life

In December 1981, Lar married Michael Martin Lincoln, with whom she shared a life until his untimely death in 1995. They were parents to two children: Piper Annette, born in 1990, and Trevor Alexander, born in 1993. In remembrance of her husband, who passed away after a two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer at the age of 43, Lar reflected on their experiences establishing a home hospice in San Antonio during his final days.

Lar took a break from acting following the losses of her husband and parents, Jack and Marjorie Dale, returning to her Texas hometown to raise her children. Grieving her family deeply, her journey was marked by remarkable resilience, as noted by her assistant:

“Lar’s personal journey has been marked by resilience, facing advanced breast cancer, navigating encounters with stalkers, and coping with the profound loss of both her husband and parents, all while raising her young children.”

Legacy and Contributions

In conjunction with her acting career, Lar Park Lincoln launched the Piper Alexander Collection, a successful clothing line named after her children, which featured fashionable coordinated outfits for mothers and daughters—selling out each season.

Her children have also pursued careers in the spotlight. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in international development, she also married her longtime boyfriend, Tarek Issa, in October 2019.

Meanwhile, Trevor has embarked on a career in engineering while actively participating in his local church’s worship band, demonstrating his musical talents on guitar and trombone. He wed his girlfriend, Danielle, in 2018, who has been a licensed speech-language pathologist since 2020.

Lincoln’s creative involvement extended beyond acting; her nephew, Austin, authored the script for the film Static at just 17, which Lar produced, highlighting her commitment to nurturing talent within her family.
