The final sentence for Kris Wu (Wu Yifan) has been decided
On the morning of November 24, the Beijing Court in China refuted Kris Wu’s appeal and decided on the same sentence as the lower court.
It is known that Kris Wu was initially sentenced to 13 years in prison under two charges, including rape (11 year and 6 month imprisonment and expulsion from China) and group promiscuity (1 year and 10 month imprisonment).
However, the idol-actor has filed an appeal in an attempt to overturn this sentence.
It is also reported that Kris Wu’s family and the Embassy of Canada in China was in attendance at this appeal trial.
Previously, an audio of Du Meizhu, the first alleged victim of Kris Wu who came public, extorting and blackmailing the male star was released. However, public opinion was not swayed as Kris Wu’s sentence proved that he has still committed crime.
