Despite receiving support from Kim Se-jeong, former DIA member Chaewon was eliminated from “Universe Ticket”
On the December 13 broadcast of SBS’s “UNIVERSE TICKET” , participants formed pairs to receive level tests through their performances of the show’s theme song “Ticket To You” . They were divided into High, Mid, and Low teams to prepare for the “Next Prism Level” .
Here, Kwon Chaewon, a former member of girl group DIA, delivered her performance as part of the Mid team. Regarding Kwon Chaewon’s stage, Kim Sejeong said, “I know Chaewon personally. I wanted to cheer for her from the perspective of a fellow girl group member. After watching this stage, I finally feel like I can support her properly.”
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation Hyoyeon also complimented, “Watching it now, I was also excited and had good energy. Did you improve during that period? I was wondering if you would be able to show your real skills.”
Hearing this, Kwon Chaewon said, “I felt like I finally received praise. I really wanted to hear those words,” and her eyes welled up with tears.
However, Kwon Chaewon ultimately got eliminated, and Kim Sejeong continued to show support, saying, “Today, I could see Kwon Chaewon on the stage and call out her name. I was happy to know that this is what Chaewon can do on stage.”
Meanwhile, “UNIVERSE TICKET” is a program that aims to form a project girl group targeting global audiences, with activities set both in the real world and in the metaverse.
