The upcoming drama draws inspiration from the critically acclaimed film Inside Men, which debuted on November 19, 2015. This film featured an esteemed cast that included Lee Byung-hun, Cho Seung-woo, and Baek Yoon-shik, and was brought to life by renowned director and screenwriter Woo Min-ho. The movie itself was adapted from the webtoon authored by Yun Tae-ho.
Kim Ji-yeon’s Role in the New Adaptation
In this adaptation, Kim Ji-yeon will portray the character of Woo Jin-sook, a female detective who plays a central role as one of the two lead female characters. This adaptation of Inside Men will be produced by Hive Media Corporation and Plus M. The former has a strong portfolio, having successfully produced films such as Harbin and The Man Standing Next.
Director Mo Wan-il helms this project, recognized for his work on popular series including The World of the Married, Misty, and A Beautiful Mind, which have resonated with audiences for their compelling storytelling.
