Traitor Revealed Walkthrough
As the mission commences, you’ll start in a cemetery-like area. Move forward until you encounter an elevator leading up to your first Blade Nexus. Here, you’ll meet Elamein, who provides vital information about Palemion’s dire situation.
To advance, take the path to the left of Elamein towards a bridge guarded by a bandit and a dog. The right path offers no significant finds and can be overlooked. Eliminate the dog and bandit, then proceed across the bridge, which will collapse midway.
After your fall, you’ll land in a vast area filled with more enemies, including dogs and bandits. Conquer these foes, but instead of progressing ahead, backtrack to follow the curved path that leads up to a smoldering rooftop. Here, you can collect the Fire Disruption Parchment, which unlocks the crafting recipe for Fire Cleanse Potions.
Feel free to run through the flames, although standing in them for too long can be harmful.
Head back to the main path, kicking away the wagon that blocks your route. This will lead you into a lengthy corridor where additional bandits await, including archers positioned to take shots from a distance.
To neutralize threats, draw the melee fighters back to your original location and eliminate them individually. Afterward, confront the archers, but before going up the wooden platform, veer left to uncover a hidden cave containing Earth Spirit’s Fuel. Gradually clear the platform occupied by the archers, where you can also find a trapped chest with a ring and Treated Gems. Don’t forget to loot the nearby houses for even more treasure.
Continuing along the main route, you’ll find a set of stairs leading to a house with a couple more bandits. Dispatch them, and unlock the chest inside the house for additional loot. Retrace your steps and follow the downhill path to discover more adversaries and the second Blade Nexus.
The Burning City
From the second Blade Nexus, take the right path leading to a tower entrance, which will be forcibly opened by a bandit. Clear out the enemies in this area, then ascend the tower. At the rooftop, you’ll find a chest filled with weapons and armor. Look just below the rooftop to spot an item on a suspended platform; use your Javelin to bring down the Ghost Relic for Adelheide the Philanthropic.
Traitor Revealed Soulstone #1
Upon exiting the tower, turn right and ascend the ladder to reach a rooftop. Turn around at the top to discover the first Soulstone and use your Javelin to shatter it.
Continue along the rooftop path to enter an area filled with foes. To the left, you will confront an Elite enemy flanked by archers. After conquering them, inspect the chest within the ruined houses for additional gear.
Boosting your Agility attribute proves invaluable in The First Berserker: Khazan, especially during encounters with large groups or bosses.
Return to the location where you leaped down and climb the ladder inside another tower-like structure. Upon exiting, take the left path or the right path via a ladder. The right leads you to confront dogs and a bandit that may drop useful equipment, alongside some crafting materials. Going left will route you through a pair of archers and a melee bandit blocking access to the Palemion Citadel.
Traitor Revealed Soulstone #2
After dealing with the trio of bandits, follow the path until you reach the grand entrance of the Palemion Citadel. Nearby, you will find another tower. Climb it, traversing the wooden walkways to reach the top and collect the second Soulstone. Destroy it, then exit to locate a drawbridge; break the chain to lower it and proceed toward the castle.
Palemion Citadel
From the third Blade Nexus, head left through an open hallway to find a staircase guarded by enemies. Clear them out, then follow the linear path to encounter an Elite enemy. Upon defeating it, loot the chest it guards for the Palemion Citadel Key, which unlocks several gated areas within the castle, including the one near the Elite.
Return to the Blade Nexus, then take the left route but now proceed down the hallway with the locked gate. Open it with the citadel key and continue down the path. In the subsequent room, after reaching the staircase that descends, look closely at the wall depicted above. Attack to break through, revealing a hidden chamber containing the Bard’s Scroll and a Jarling.
Traitor Revealed Soulstone #3
Descend into the dungeon where you’ll find another breakable wall, positioned as if it were a jail cell door. Within lies the third Soulstone of the mission.
Proceed through the dungeon, opening doors to return to the main chamber. Head to the other door that leads deeper, and explore until you tap into the sewers.
Palemion Underground
When you climb down the ladder, expect to confront an invisible undead assassin. Watch for its footprints, and prepare to dodge when it becomes aware of your presence. Once you successfully defeat it, proceed down the corridor, where you’ll encounter another twinned path.
The right path presents an undead ambush paired with a coffin containing the Earth Summon Scroll, necessary for crafting Earth Enhancers. The left offers a more linear path with manageable undead foes, ultimately creating a shortcut to the Blade Nexus above.
Continue navigating the tunnels until you meet Andell, a former bandit who will provide you insight into the presence of the Knivesveill in Palemion. After conversing, take the right path and cautiously drop onto the platform below.
Platforming Section
During this section, it is advisable to preserve Spirit for your Javelin use. Rather than descending the ladder directly, navigate to the nearby ledge where you will spot an archer below. Take him out, then drop onto his platform, but beware of an additional bandit present.
Next, drop down from the initial archer’s perch and get ready to block an incoming arrow from below. Use your Javelin to eliminate the shooter, then drop onto the next ledge. Defeat the two bandits waiting there, and descend to the wooden beam below. Stay along the wall and proceed to the wooden platforms ahead, dropping down successively until you reach the bottom.
Traitor Revealed Soulstone #4
After reaching the bottom of the chasm, continue against the tide of enemies before climbing the depicted ladder. As you navigate through further bandits on the next floor, make your way across the wooden platform, then turn around. The final Soulstone of this level will be positioned on a wooden beam.
Rangkus Boss Fight
After collecting all the Soulstones, take an elevator and make your way to the Underground Escape Route, where you will face Rangkus, the level boss.
- Master the timing to parry his slow melee strikes.
- Employ Fire Cleansers and equip items with Fire Resistance.
- When he begins to spin and unleash flames, swiftly reposition yourself away from him.
