“Keep Jungkook Out of It” — BTS Fans Split Over Azealia Banks’ Comments on BTS Idol’s Physique During Online Feud

On Monday, April 22, rapper Azealia Banks sparked controversy after mentioning BTS’ Jungkook in a public spat with influencer Ducki on the platform X. The feud escalated when Banks shared a close-up image of Ducki, critiquing her physical appearance.

In her commentary, Banks remarked on Ducki’s waist, suggesting it didn’t conform to traditional female body standards, claiming that Ducki’s muscular physique resembled that of Jungkook, the BTS member. This remark was met with discomfort and anger among fans, who felt it was unnecessary to involve the K-pop star in the conflict.

Many fans criticized Banks for using Jungkook’s name to attract attention to her posts, while others took a more lenient view, interpreting her comment as a backhanded compliment. This divergence in reactions spurred a lively discussion online.

One X user expressed their outrage by stating:

“WHY IS HE BEING DRAGGED INTO THISSSSS”said a fan on X.

“I don’t even know why you would try to use Jungkook as a drag, ARMYs finna get on your a*s ouu I’m excited,”added another fan.

“Well no. I know for a fact he doesn’t look like that girl. You don’t even know him that well, so BYE,”commented a netizen.

In contrast, some fans defended Banks’ wording and viewed it as a slight nod to Jungkook’s physique:

“I was about to say leave him out of this, but yes main pop boy name drop!”stated a fan.

“The way this isn’t even an insult… you know what, I’ll take it,”added another user.

“Peak male body btw,”said a netizen.

“So her body tea!! That’s a win baby,”commented another X user.
