Actress Jung So-min is expected to continue her title of “rom-com queen” with the new K-drama “Mom’s Friend’s Son”
“Mom’s Friend’s Son” is a romantic comedy that unfolds between a woman trying to reboot her error-filled life and her living dark history, “Mother’s Friend Son.”
In the drama, Jung So-min will take on the role of Bae Seok-ryu, who quits her job as a project manager and is currently living as an unemployed person. She has always been the top scorer in exams and with her natural passion and energy, initially joined a global conglomerate but later resigned and became unemployed due to a certain incident.
Meanwhile, Choi Seung-hyo, the “mom’s friend’s son” of Bae Seok-ryu, will be portrayed by Jung Hae-in. Currently, he is a young architect receiving significant attention in the Korean architecture industry. He became friends with Bae Seok-ryu when they met at a bathhouse, sharing banana milk thanks to their mothers when they were four years old.
“Mom’s Friend’s Son” will be directed by Yoo Je-won, who directed tvN’s “Mr. Sunshine” , and the script will be penned by Shin Ha-eun. Production is set to begin as soon as the casting process is completed.
