Last week, Jujutsu Kaisen again delivered a thrilling chapter with the commencement of Maki vs Sukuna. The series wraps up Yuta and Yuji vs Sukuna, with both young sorcerers taking serious damage. Yuta’s condition is far more serious than Yuji’s, as Ui Ui takes the former to Shoko.
Maki fights the King of Curses one-on-one, and it appears she’s holding her own. Furthermore, the recent chapter also brings back Choso after several weeks. He disappeared after Chapter 246 when Sukuna literally impaled him.
Additionally, Hakari and Uraume are still fighting. Uraume mocks the sorcerers for being unable to produce the same results as Satoru Gojo. Sukuna has fought almost the entire cast of Jujutsu Kaisen at this point. However, even with all of their combined strength, the damage done isn’t close to what Gojo did alone. As the chapter ends with Sukuna showing a dangerous look, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 253 might reveal more about the true power of the King of Curses.
After all, even at this point, the strongest sorcerer in history has yet to show all his powers. On the sorcerers’ end, not many are left with enough strength to fight the monster. Yuta is down for the count, while others are either dead or injured. Even Hakari is keeping Uraume at bay, so he cannot join the battle against the strongest at least yet.
Hence, all hope lies on Maki and Yuji, with the latter being severely injured and using too much of his cursed energy. The upcoming chapter might be a major turning point in the battle against the strongest as Sukuna prepares to do something dangerous.
