Jujutsu Kaisen is currently showing Yuta and Yuj going against Sukuna, the King of Curses. The battle is pretty intense. While the young sorcerers are holding their own against the embodiment of disaster, Yuta knows they wouldn’t have survived this long without Gojo wearing down Sukuna.
The villain is still unable to use the Reverse Cursed Technique and Domain Expansion thanks to his fight against Gojo. Sukuna also reveals that it’s not that he has low cursed energy due to his fight with Gojo, but every sorcerer has upgraded their defensive abilities.

The recent chapter ends with Yuta using Sukuna’s technique, “Cleave,” against him. It’s one of Sukuna’s most common techniques and extremely powerful at that. If Yuta can copy Cleave, it surely means that he can copy Sukuna’s other techniques as well. The series has yet to fully explain the conditions that allow Yuta to copy a target’s abilities.
Additionally, while the situation is in Yuta and Yuji’s favor, Sukuna can regain his cursed energy any moment now. Once that happens, defeating him would be more challenging than it is now. For now, at least, it seems the upcoming chapters might finally reveal Sukuna’s innate technique.
While he has a bunch of deadly techniques, such as Cleave, Dismantle, Spiderweb, and Fire Arrow, it will be nothing more than an extension of his innate ability. In Shibuya, he chants something before saying “Open” and unlocks his fire abilities. He then uses a Fire Arrow, which far exceeds Jogo’s abilities, who specializes in fire techniques.
Sukuna also says that he won’t cheat by revealing his technique since that would increase his power. It’s also confusing as to why he’s not using Fire Arrow in Shinjuku. However, it might be finally the time when Sukuna’s techniques are out in the open.
