Jon Hamm Stars in ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Trailer as a Character Who Deceives Wealthy Friends

Jon Hamm Embarks on a Darkly Comedic Journey in “Your Friends & Neighbors”

It’s hard to imagine a charismatic figure like Jon Hamm engaging in criminal activities, but that’s exactly what he does in his upcoming Apple TV+ series, Your Friends & Neighbors. Taking on the lead role of Coop, Hamm portrays a family man whose life begins to unravel after losing his job and facing a recent divorce.

In a bold move, Coop turns to robbing his wealthy neighbors, betting on the assumption that no one would suspect him. “Rich guy loses his big job, faces financial issues, and resorts to petty crime. That’s not savvy; that’s just foolish,”a character notes during the trailer. Coop responds, “Maybe it’s just desperation,”succinctly capturing his state of mind amidst his misadventures.

Anticipation Builds Ahead of Premiere

Excitingly, the series has already secured a second season before its initial airing. The first season of Your Friends & Neighbors, comprising nine episodes, is set to premiere on April 11, with two episodes releasing simultaneously, followed by weekly drops every Friday leading up to the season finale on May 30.
