Joe Gatto Enters Inpatient Program and Cancels Tour Due to Assault Allegations

Joe Gatto, a former star of Impractical Jokers, has made headlines recently for canceling his tour and seeking treatment at an inpatient facility following allegations of sexual harassment. Two women, including one former employee, have accused Gatto of inappropriate conduct, although he has denied these claims.

As reported by People on March 26, 2025, Gatto voluntarily entered an inpatient program. In an exclusive statement, he expressed his intent to focus on personal development during this time:

“Having taken some time to reflect, I’ve decided to voluntarily enter an inpatient program to continue working on myself.”

In his statement, Gatto also expressed gratitude towards his friends, fans, and family for their support, particularly in recent days. Sources indicate that all dates for his ongoing “Let’s Get Into It”tour, which commenced on January 9 and was slated to run until June 14, would be canceled. Recently, Gatto had performed in Cincinnati on March 15, with upcoming shows planned in Baltimore on April 12 and Port Chester the next day. As of now, there has been no official confirmation on the cancellation of specific tour dates or the potential postponement of the tour as a whole.

Allegations of Inappropriate Conduct Surface

Gatto’s decision to seek inpatient treatment coincides with serious allegations of sexual misconduct. The first accusation emerged from a TikTok user named joozyb, who claimed that Gatto assaulted her when she was 19 during his show in Milwaukee in September 2023. This user alleged that the incident included inappropriate physical contact that left her with visible bruising.

In response to these allegations, Gatto issued a statement to Page Six on March 22, firmly denying any assault while acknowledging regret for having “used poor judgment”that led to violations of trust with those close to him.

On March 23, People published further details from another source alleging Gatto’s troubling behavior. This unnamed woman, who had once worked for him post-college, reported that colleagues had warned her about Gatto’s “flirty and handsy”behavior, which she experienced firsthand. She recounted instances of inappropriate remarks and advances after she turned 18, including unsolicited requests for back massages and private cuddling.

Additionally, she noted Gatto’s possessiveness and jealousy regarding her social media activity, stating he would privately comment on her posts and express that he found her “hot,”especially if she shared photos with her boyfriend. The former employee described these actions as part of a concerning pattern throughout her two years of employment under Gatto.

Joe Gatto is married to Bessy Gatto, with whom he shares two children, Milana and Remington.
