Jess Hilarious Claims Loren Lorosa Overtalked on The Breakfast Club Following IG Drama: “You are Here Because of an Opportunity I Extended”

Emotions ran high during a recent episode of The Breakfast Club when comedian and media figure Jess Hilarious openly challenged journalist Loren LoRosa, who had filled in for her during her maternity leave. This confrontation marked a significant moment as Hilarious returned to the show on March 19, 2025, after a break.

Upon her return, Jess Hilarious expressed her feelings about the noticeable changes on the program, particularly regarding the dynamics with her co-hosts, DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. In her remarks, she implied that LoRosa’s presence on the show was facilitated by her own efforts.

“You are here because of an opportunity that I extended,”Hilarious asserted.

This tiff arose in the wake of an Instagram Live session on March 18, 2025, where the comedian had boldly called out her fellow co-hosts without naming anyone specifically.

Intense Exchange Unfolds on The Breakfast Club

On March 19, in a forthright manner, Hilarious accused LoRosa of frequently interrupting conversations and dominating discussions, stating that she felt her own voice was being suppressed.

“Now listen, I have said ‘hush, shut up, yo you overtalk,’ and like I said, I am not up here fighting for the mic. Three of us are opinionated — me, you, and Charlamagne,”Hilarious reiterated.

This heated discussion only escalated as LoRosa reminded Hilarious that they are both capable women and should communicate their concerns directly. Hilarious responded compellingly, asserting that while she recognized LoRosa’s skill and professionalism, she believed that her contributions warranted a separate segment, rather than merging into Jess With the Mess.

“No, I am not saying you don’t deserve to be here… That’s why I want her to have her segment,”Hilarious clarified.

Hilarious further articulated her perspective on the segment she used to host solo, asserting that there were no complaints about Jess With the Mess until LoRosa began reading and reporting content as well.

“Why she gotta be moved in on — ’cause nobody had a problem with ‘Jess With the Mess’ until she started reading it right,”Hilarious stated emphatically.

Leading up to this confrontation, during an Instagram Live on March 18, Hilarious took the opportunity to express her frustration over the perceived lack of support from her co-hosts when she faced backlash for her comments regarding DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old cancer survivor.

Jess Hilarious publicly announced her maternity leave in February 2024 and officially stepped away from the show during the summer of that year. After giving birth, she made her much-anticipated return to The Breakfast Club on November 8, 2024, when her daughter was just three months old.

As of now, Hilarious continues to be an active member of The Breakfast Club and has neither been dismissed nor resigned from her position on the show. Updates regarding this ongoing situation remain sparse.
