Recently, Tanuki, a popular Japanese Twitch streamer known as “crazyjapanese,”shared a deeply unsettling childhood experience during a livestream with fellow streamers Vangard and T10Nat. The incident she recounted involved a terrifying encounter that nearly led to her kidnapping.
Currently serving as a university educator, Tanuki’s harrowing experience dates back to her days as a high school student in Japan. She opened up about the distressing harassment she faced, emphasizing the psychological toll it took on her.
“When I was in high school, a high school girl, three years every morning a bunch of group of guys… just touch my bu**. I didn’t scream so his hand started to move to like, the front.”
As if the situation couldn’t escalate further, Tanuki described how one particular individual began to follow her in a menacing manner:

In a candid discussion over dinner, streamers Vangard, T10Nat, and Tanuki exchanged stories of unsettling experiences in Japan. The conversation quickly became serious as the female streamers highlighted moments where they confronted uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situations.
Tanuki continued describing the alarming episode, detailing how the assailant attempted to carry her away:
“He put his hand in between my leg and he just tried to carry me, and then there’s a car. He tried to kidnap me, and then I said, there’s my house! He was just right in front of my house. And then luckily somebody came out, and then just he just let me go and he ran away. (sic)”
Stunned by Tanuki’s revelation, T10Nat expressed her empathy, saying:
“You’ve just shared that you got kidnapped once. Oh my God! She just shared that she got kidnapped chat!”
