On February 20, 2024, Youtuber Zev Does KDrama (hereby referred to as Zev) released a video reacting to IU’s music video for “Shopper.”

At the start of the video, he introduces himself in Korean as “Grandpa UAENA,”proving his status as a certified fanboy! On top of that, he was seen wearing a “Hotel del Luna”pin along with his bowtie. “Hotel del Luna”is a drama IU starred in, cementing his status as a true UAENA.
He revealed he woke up extra early (7 AM!) just to watch the music video and react to it.
From the very start of the video, Zev gushed over how beautiful IU was in the video. As the song played, Zev had a huge smile on his face.
At the end of the video, he stated that he found the music video so fun and complimented the idol’s ability to engage and weave a story. On top of her skills as a singer and actress, he gushed over her abilities as a producer.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, IU shared snippets of Zev’s video on her Instagram Story and even included a link for her fans to check it out themselves. On top of that, she included a letter for her elderly fan.
She commented that his videos make her happy, and he hopes that she can make him happy for a long time. She then revealed her intentions of inviting him to her concert in America, noting that her company would reach out to you. IU revealed her hopes that he would come see her.
She commented that the outfit he wore suited him and expressed her hopes that he would enjoy her new album.
