ITZY Gathers Over 20 Million Instagram Followers, Not Just Pretty Faces 

As of January 27, ITZY’s official Instagram account has exceeded 20 million followers. This marks the third-highest record for a K-pop girl group and highlights ITZY’s popularity.

Through their official Instagram account, the members share casual moments from their lives, building a close bond with fans. Various trendy challenges and short-form content showcasing their unique sensibilities have also garnered attention.

ITZY made a comeback on January 8 with their new mini-album “BORN TO BE” . They promoted the title track “UNTOUCHABLE” and the B-side “Mr. Vampire” on music shows.

As of the 29th, the monthly listeners (number of listeners in the last 28 days) on ITZY’s Spotify channel reached 7,298,571, achieving a total streaming count of 2.3 billion for all songs on the platform.

ITZY has been making a strong presence on various platforms, including music shows, YouTube content, and television programs. Recently, they appeared on Naver NOW’s “NPOP” and KBS Kpop’s original web entertainment “Idol Human Theater” , where their lively conversations and witty humor brought joy to viewers.

On January 26, they also appeared on KBS 2TV’s music talk show “The Seasons – Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet” , where they perfectly covered Lee Hyori’s representative songs “U-Go-Girl” , “10 Minutes” , and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” .

Starting from February, ITZY is set to embark on their second world tour, “ITZY 2ND WORLD TOUR <BORN TO BE>” . The tour will cover 27 regions with 29 performances worldwide, opening in Seoul on February 24-25 at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, marking another step forward for ITZY.

After successfully completing their first world tour, “ITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR <CHECKMATE>” , last year, ITZY continues its global journey with an expanded and ambitious new world tour, meeting more domestic and international MIDZYs (fandom name) to sustain their popularity.
