Settling into Life in Boston

In their interview, Grant expressed zero reservations about moving to Boston, highlighting the importance of Juliana’s happiness in his decision-making process.

“With Jules, her family is her lifeline. That’s what makes her her. So to be like, ‘Oh, let’s go here, go here.’ No, we are gonna [go] where it makes her happy and I’m going to adjust because I just want to see her happy,” he shared.

Grant emphasized that his willingness to relocate was significantly influenced by his understanding of Juliana’s family ties, showing how deeply he values her comfort and support.

Preparing for a Long Engagement

Both Juliana and Grant expressed a desire to embrace a lengthy engagement, signaling that they aren’t rushing towards marriage.

“We have to do some normal things where it feels exciting to plan that [wedding],” Juliana remarked.

She elaborated on the intensity of their relationship thus far and their wish to experience a period of normalcy before embarking on wedding preparations. After the whirlwind nature of their time on The Bachelor, she’s keen to savor a slower pace.

“We are coming down from such a crazy high right now. I don’t wanna just try and keep it going — I really want to plateau a bit and just live normally for a minute and then we can start planning and have fun and do all those things,” she added.

Cultivating Their Relationship Beyond the Show

Since their time on The Bachelor, Juliana and Grant have solidified their bond with cherished “happy couple”weekends. These moments have allowed them to truly connect outside the public eye and cameras.

Reflecting on their experiences, Grant noted that music often filled their weekends, as he recalled access to a piano during their time together.

“People should be expressive however you want. Some people paint, some people drive cars — you just gotta do what you want to do. That’s the way I live life,” he elaborated.

Juliana affirmed the significance of music in their relationship.

“Music is a big thing in my life and it’s a big thing in your life,” she responded.

During their weekends, they enjoyed playing together, jamming to Grant’s song “Party Girls,”but also cherished moments spent enjoying various “regular everyday music.”
