IShowSpeed Teases His Upcoming Return to India

During a live stream on March 31, 2025, YouTube sensation Darren “IShowSpeed” expressed his excitement over his ongoing tour in China and reflected on previous travel experiences. He shared feelings of dissatisfaction regarding his earlier travels, specifically highlighting places he wishes to revisit, including India.

Darren’s journey to India took place in October 2023, where he had the opportunity to meet local celebrities and fellow content creators. Although he had intended to return in November 2024 for a promotional event, he was unable to do so. Nonetheless, during his stream, he articulated his desire to visit several countries again, stating:

“I was kinda new to touring…I didn’t do Japan right. I think I did Korea okay. Yeah, I did Korea alright. I didn’t do Japan this justice, what else country? I didn’t feel I did Australia this justice too. Turkey? Turkey for real tho. Yeah Turkey. India? I didn’t do Indian this justice. I gotta go back to India for sure.”

A Glimpse into IShowSpeed’s India Adventure

On the first day of his India tour, IShowSpeed collaborated with rapper Altaf “MC Stan,” where they recorded several songs, giving fans an exclusive look into their creative process. Unfortunately, these tracks have yet to be released!

Darren also explored the vibrant streets of Mumbai, where he engaged local vendors, played Daler Mehendi’s hit “Tunak Tunak Tun,”and demonstrated his generosity by leaving large tips that were well-received by the locals. As his tour progressed, he also had the chance to meet Mehendi and his family.

A highlight of his trip was attending the high-stakes India vs. Pakistan cricket match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As an avid Virat Kohli enthusiast, Darren enjoyed witnessing the cricket star’s performance live and took part in friendly games with local children.

Despite plans to collaborate with fellow YouTuber Ajey “CarryMinati” during his visit, scheduling conflicts prevented their meeting. They eventually joined forces at the Sidemen Charity Match in 2025. IShowSpeed’s livestreams from India generated significant buzz, with the first day’s footage amassing over 6.5 million views.

While Darren is eager to return to India, he hasn’t announced a timeline for his next travel series in the region. Currently, he is immersed in a multi-week streaming project in China, with future travels planned for Mongolia and a month-long tour across Africa already in the works.

In recent news, IShowSpeed stirred debate in his community by naming Eminem the greatest rapper of all time, prompting a mix of reactions from fans.
