Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a survival horror adventure game set in a spooky village where the protagonists need to hunt ghosts to save the population. The game feels a lot like a cross between Project Zero, and The Dark Pictures Anthology, with some RPG and third-person shooting elements thrown in.
It’s also one of our most anticipated titles for February 2024 and has been confirmed to be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. But will Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden be coming to the Nintendo Switch when it releases on February 13? Here’s what we know.

Banishers will contain some third-person shooter elements.
Is Banishers coming to Nintendo Switch?
No, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is not coming to Nintendo Switch on launch.
This may come as a disappointment to some, but Banishers is intended to be a current-gen game, making use of modern 4K visuals to tell a spooky and cinematic experience.
While the Nintendo Switch is indeed part of this same console generation as the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, its portability means it’s naturally not on the same level as Microsoft and Sony’s main home consoles.
Therefore, it’s unlikely that Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be released on the Nintendo Switch unless the devs give the game a port with a graphical downgrade.
