Barone stated, “Nothing is planned but I’m not going to say the book is closed,”leaving players hopeful, yet uncertain.
While a version 1.7 could still be a possibility in the distant future, Barone’s primary focus remains on Haunted Chocolatier. Minor updates are expected to continue, delivering gameplay adjustments, bug fixes, and the occasional new content, such as additional mine layouts and enhanced spousal interactions. At this time, it appears that players should prepare for minor updates rather than any significant additions to the game.
