Becoming a University Professor in InZOI may seem daunting, but it’s more straightforward than it appears. While the experience might lack some excitement compared to other games like The Sims, it still offers unique elements worth exploring.

As InZOI is still in Early Access, numerous features and mechanics may evolve over time. Once you grasp the career progression, advancing through the ranks will become significantly easier.

To embark on a career as a University Professor in InZOI, ensure that your character, known as Zoi, is within the Young Adult to Middle-Aged age range. Surprisingly, no prior skills, educational qualifications, or specific traits are required to begin this journey. This simplified approach allows players to bypass extensive skill-building and focus on gameplay instead. As the game develops, this may evolve, particularly concerning critical thinking skills and other attributes.

To secure a position, access the careers section through your Zoi’s smartphone located at the bottom of your screen. The available employment location will depend on your initial living choice, which presents options at only two universities:

  • Bliss Bay – Bliss Bay University
  • Dowon – University of Youngsung

{@successfully if there is a job open}, select it. If no positions are available, simply locate the current professor and interact with their character. By clicking on them, you can switch to their gameplay and pause, enabling you to quit your job and reselect your Zoi. Alternatively, you can access their family’s management menu, though this method may be less intuitive due to InZOI’s complex interface.

There Are Two Types of Jobs

In InZOI, jobs are categorized into two types: rabbit hole jobs and active jobs. The University Professor role falls under the rabbit hole category, meaning players will send their Zoi to work and will not actively participate in the daily duties. To manage tasks efficiently, players simply select a task via the briefcase icon located on the right, reminiscent of functionality in The Sims 3.

It’s crucial to note that the tasks you choose do not directly influence your Zoi’s career advancement. Instead, players will send their Zoi to work and wait until the designated work hours conclude, spanning Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM. While engaging in tasks adds to the role-playing aspect, they do not accelerate career progression or unlock new skills.

As an Assistant Professor, you’ll find tasks straightforward. However, the player must remember that merely selecting tasks won’t hasten promotion. An option to “Leave Early”exists but has proven ineffective in noticeably impacting career progression. It’s clear that InZOI, in its Early Access phase, has room for enhancements.

Upon promotion to Full Professor, tasks become available that, while not influencing promotion speed, contribute to a greater monetary reward. Increasing levels within the University Professor path rely on the progression bar, which fills automatically over time, leading to the next career milestone.
