InZOI launched its Early Access phase in March 2025, introducing players to an immersive life simulator where they can create Zois, develop cities, and explore rich life experiences that highlight both the joys and challenges of existence. While it does have some limitations, InZOI provides engaging family dynamics, including the opportunity to have children.
In this simulation, newborns have the briefest lifespan and limited interactions. Nevertheless, Zois can bond with their infants, observing and socializing to encourage healthy development as they grow older. For those looking to expand their families, here’s a comprehensive guide on how to conceive and nurture a baby in InZOI.
How to Have a Baby in InZOI

Players have the ability to design child, teen, and adult Zois in the Creative Studio, but to access the newborn, toddler, and adolescent stages, players must naturally progress through the game’s mechanics. To have a newborn or toddler, Zois must conceive.
To initiate a pregnancy in InZOI, a marriage between a male and female Zoi is essential. There is no adoption feature in the game, and unmarried Zois do not have the option to have children. Players are required to develop a romantic relationship with a Zoi of the opposite gender and choose to marry them before starting a family.
As the romantic relationship strengthens, players will have the chance to propose marriage, leading to a wedding event. Alternatively, they can create two Zois in the Creative Studio and set their relationship to Husband/Wife, streamlining the process.

Following the wedding, one of the married Zois must initiate the interaction “Suggest Having a Baby” with their partner. If both parties agree, they will proceed to the bedroom to attempt conception. Afterward, players can select the female Zoi to take a Pregnancy Test. If successful, a notification will appear, detailing the pregnancy and upcoming birth. Should the attempt be unsuccessful, players can simply try again until pregnancy is achieved.

It’s important to note that households with a maximum of eight Zois cannot conceive due to game limitations.
How to Give Birth in InZOI

Pregnancies last for three in-game days. Players are unable to track the specific progress of the pregnancy, but the pregnant Zoi will visibly grow a belly as time passes. Preparing a nursery for the new arrival is also encouraged, as a red exclamation mark will appear over the pregnant Zoi’s head when it is time to give birth. Players can click this icon and select “Give Birth,”prompting the Zoi to automatically head to the hospital, accompanied by a loading screen.

Upon returning to their lot, players will find the newborn placed randomly in a crib within one of the rooms. A pop-up will indicate the gender of the child and allow players to assign both first and last names. While newborns come with a randomly assigned trait, their specific Values and Desired Lives remain dormant during this early stage.
How to Care for Babies in InZOI

During the newborn phase in InZOI, physical interaction with infants is limited, as they are confined to their cribs. However, Zois can engage in conversation and express affection in other ways. Players can hover over the newborn to view available social interactions.
The duration of the newborn stage is only one in-game day; while players cannot extend this period, they can modify the length of days if they desire additional time with their new child.
Once the day concludes, newborns will automatically transition into the toddler stage. Toddlers, who have more demanding needs than infants, require regular feeding, cleaning, and care. Furthermore, older Zois can assist them in learning to walk and talk.

Toddlers possess four fundamental skill sets:
- Emotional
- Language
- Cognitive
- Physical
Lasting for just two days, the toddler stage sets the groundwork for future skill development, giving those with higher skill levels an advantage as they transition into childhood. Consistent engagement and nurturing will foster growth during this crucial phase.
