The crux of the adventure revolves around Indy’s pursuit of the mischievous monkeys that have purloined several essential items, including the critical key to the equipment room. To unlock this room and gather valuable materials hidden inside, players must successfully complete the Monkey Business mystery.
Unraveling the Monkey Business Mystery
Just like the engaging A Child’s Play mystery, the Monkey Business quest sends Indy on a unique adventure, yet this time instead of seeking treasure, he is on the lookout for the stolen key. To activate this quest, players should don the Royal Army attire before venturing into the Fascist Armory; otherwise, they face challenges of stealth or combat.
Upon disembarking from the boat at the nearby dock, players should crawl under the barrier fence to access the Fascist Armory. Navigate to the two-story building and ascend to the upper floor.
The second floor features a bulletin board displaying a warning about monkeys. Capture an image of the notice with your camera to officially initiate the Monkey Business mystery. Armed with this knowledge, it’s time to pursue the mischievous monkeys.
Discovering the Monkeys
After examining the second floor, retrace your steps down and exit through the same entry point used previously. Make a left turn and scale the fragmented wall to access deeper waters. Dive in and swim towards the landmass adjacent to the submerged structure.
Upon arrival, Indy will discover a group of monkeys frolicking amid the Fascist artifacts. Approaching them will cause them to scatter, allowing players the opportunity to search at their leisure. On the rock where one of the monkeys previously leaped, players will uncover the coveted Equipment Room Key.
With the key in hand, return to the building and unlock the Equipment Room to conclude the Monkey Business mystery in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Inside, players will discover the valuable Slugger II skill book, which enhances damage from charged attacks, redeemable for 900 Adventure Points. Additional treasures include various bandages, currency, weapons, and ammunition.
