Their day off led them to watch a movie together, but the situation escalated when Himari texted Saito, teasing the already charged atmosphere as Akane couldn’t help but mock Saito’s connection with her.

As the episode progressed, a flashback revealed a childhood connection between Akane and Saito during a Hojo clan event, highlighting Akane’s anticipation of their reunion. However, Saito’s failure to remember her in high school left Akane feeling neglected and frustrated.
