Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 2 live event is underway, tasking players with opening up the legendary Pandora’s Box. Here’s what you need to know about the event.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is nearly upon us, but before it arrives, a new mini-event is taking place in the game.
During the event, players must break the chains surrounding Pandora’s Box, which is held captive perilously above the ground near Ruined Reels.
If you’re looking to free the box from its shackles, here’s what you need to know.
How to open Pandora’s Box
As it currently stands, there are two parts to this event. To free Pandora’s Box, you’ll need to damage the chains holding it. It seems the chains may have an ungodly amount of HP that the community needs to unite against.
Provided you get Pandora’s Box free, it’ll automatically open the chest for everyone in the lobby. What happens next is still under wraps, but clips surfacing show it releases a fiery vortex players can glide in.
