Pokemon Go Shadow Mewtwo raids

The easiest way to add Shadow Mewtwo to your Pokemon Go collection is through the newly introduced Shadow Raids, but, while finding a Raid is easy, actually completing one is a different matter.

Shadow Raids must be tackled in person, meaning that players cannot use remote raid passes, and must be physically near the Raid location.

Plus, Shadow Mewtwo is a tough boss in Shadow Raids, likely needing at least four or five high-level Pokemon Go players working together to take it down. If you can find a Shadow Mewtwo Raid, and gather enough players to defeat it, you encounter a Shadow Mewtwo for a chance to catch one.

Pokemon Go Shadow Mewtwo can it be Shiny?

Yes, Shadow Mewtwo has a chance of being Shiny in Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go players that find a Shadow Mewtwo Raid and defeat it will earn an encounter with Mewtwo. Legendary Pokemon in Raids have around a 1/20 chance of being Shiny, so keep at it.
