Now, fans have confirmation that Generation 8’s Marshadow will be making its debut in the mobile game as part of Go Fest 2024.

How to get Marshadow in Pokemon Go
As a special Mythical Pokemon, Marshadow will only be available through certain events.
The first event where trainers can encounter Marshadow is the Pokemon Go Fest 2024 celebration. Trainers who purchase tickets to either the Sendai, Madrid, or New York City in-person events will gain access to a Special Research quest that offers a Marshadow encounter.
Thankfully, Marshadow will not be limited to the in-person events. Trainers participating in Go Fest 2024: Global will also be able to purchase a ticket to get access to the Special Research quest.
Can Marshadow be Shiny in Pokemon Go?
Currently, it’s unknown if Marshadow will be available as a Shiny or not during its debut in the Pokemon Go Fest 2024 event.
In the past, major events like these have offered trainers the chance to purchase Masterwork Research tickets, which have led to Shiny Pokemon encounters. We will update this guide if this is the case for Marshadow.
