Flabebe made its Pokemon debut in Generation VI as one of the first Fairy types in the franchise. However, it didn’t make it to Pokemon Go until the Valentine’s Day 2022 event.

How to get Flabebe in Pokemon Go
The tiny flower Pokemon from the Kalos region can only be found one way in the game:
- As a wild encounter
However, during the Verdant Wonders event, trainers will be more likely to find Flabebe in the wild from Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM until Monday, March 25, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time.
How to get all Flabebe colors in Pokemon Go
Flabebe can be caught in five different color schemes in Pokemon Go, but some of them are exclusive to specific regions, so you’ll need to trade with friends if you want to get every single one.

Flabebe will spawn more often during the Verdant Wonders event, so it’s the perfect time to gather as much Candy as you can to evolve it. However, the process has two steps, with the second one being a little tricky.
- Evolve Flabebe into Floette using 25 Candy.
- Gather another 100 Candy.
- Set Floette as your Buddy.
- Earn 20 buddy hearts with Floette to trigger Florges’ evolution.
It doesn’t matter what Flabebe color you have, the process’ requirements won’t change.
Can Flabebe be Shiny in Pokemon Go?
Yes, players will be able to find Shiny Flabebe in Pokemon Go, as this particular version will debut alongside the Verdant Wonders event.
All five color variations will have their own Shiny, but they will be hard to spot, as the only part of Flabebe’s body that changes is the green area in the middle, so pay extra attention during your hunt.
