Meet Chef Britt Rescigno
Britt Rescigno, hailing from South Jersey, began her culinary career in her family’s restaurant, Allen’s Clam Bar, where she started out as a prep cook and progressed to line cook by the age of 13. After earning her degree from the Culinary Institute of America in 2009, she further honed her skills during an externship at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club.
Her career has taken her across both coasts of the U.S., serving as sous chef at Scratch in California and assisting in the opening of Nom Burger. Additionally, she was instrumental in developing creative food concepts at Tap’t Beer and Kitchen, and she launched the exclusive dining experience known as Nox Farm to Table.
Upon returning to the East Coast, Chef Rescigno took on the role of executive chef at Delaware Avenue Oyster House on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. In 2022, she transitioned into consulting and began hosting pop-up dinners nationwide.
