In the latest World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Rogue players can unveil a hidden lockbox that holds the Spare Uncrowned Vest transmog alongside Renzik “The Shiv” ‘s journal, which is linked to his narrative within a recent short story. To unlock this treasure, players must mainly finish the Undermine(d) campaign, though it is not necessary to play as a Rogue for this feature.
The Undermine(d) update has been live for about a month, allowing players to unearth various secrets entailed in its content. Several discoveries, like the functionality for turning in the C.H.E.T.T. Lists to gain Cartel reputation in the game, are accessible to all character classes.
Exclusive Transmog and Lore for Rogues in WoW Patch 11.1
However, within the late stages of the Undermine(d) campaign, an exclusive secret awaits just for Rogues. Players embark on the Cut After Cut questline in the Homecoming segment of the Patch 11.1 storyline, where they team up with SI:7 leader Matthias Shaw to explore the Westfall Lighthouse, located at the lower left corner of the corresponding map. It is here that Rogues will find Renzik’s Lockbox, and only they hold the key to its contents. Inside, they can retrieve the Spare Uncrowned Vest transmog as well as Renzik’s Journal, which complement “The Tipping Point,”a short story from World of Warcraft: Crossroads that highlights Renzik “The Shiv.”

- Advance to the Cut After Cut quest in the Homecoming chapter on any character.
- Utilize a Rogue to unlock Renzik’s Lockbox at the Westfall Lighthouse and acquire the Spare Uncrowned Vest along with Renzik’s Journal.
- Rogues can access the lockbox starting at level 10; however, the transmog can only be utilized once the player reaches level 70.
After progressing in the Undermine(d) storyline, Renzik’s Lockbox becomes visible to other character classes, allowing them to retrieve its contents without needing to replay the campaign. Rogues can venture to the Westfall Lighthouse and open the lockbox as early as level 10, although the transmog won’t be practical until players have attained level 70.
The Spare Uncrowned Vest represents a sleeveless adaptation of the Eternal Bloodfang Chestpiece, marking it as part of the Rogue’s enhanced Tier 2 set first made available during World of Warcraft’s 20th-anniversary celebration. This vest is also a high-definition reinterpretation of the Vest of Artful Dodging, which functioned as a sleeveless variant of the original Bloodfang Chestpiece, previously obtainable at the Rogue Class Order Hall during the Legion expansion.
This lockbox is not the only exciting addition for Rogues in Patch 11.1. Renzik “The Shiv,” the figure behind the aforementioned lockbox who plays a pivotal role in the storyline, also appears in the Rogue Class Order Hall campaign. Players will find notable characters like Steamwheedle Cartel Trade-Prince Marin Noggenfogger and Matthias Shaw as available Champions. Interestingly, these two characters engage in unique dialogues with Rogues, acknowledging them as key members of the Uncrowned. However, a comical bug sometimes results in Noggenfogger mistakenly addressing characters of any class, inadvertently revealing his connection with the secretive organization in a questionable manner.
