Guide to Utilizing a Chemist: Schedule 1 Instructions

In the tranquil town of Hyland Point, a surprising market for illegal substances thrives. Even early into the game, players may find it challenging to keep pace with the soaring demand. As your operations expand, hiring workers becomes essential, albeit at a significant cost. However, effectively managing these workers, particularly Chemists, can prove to be a complex endeavor. This guide will walk you through the process of hiring and utilizing a Chemist in Schedule 1.

Chemists represent the premium tier of workers available in the game, and their high salaries reflect their expertise. These professionals can handle sophisticated equipment and produce lucrative goods, allowing you to save both time and effort in your operations.

Unlocking a Chemist in Schedule 1

Schedule 1 Chemist

To recruit a Chemist, players must first elevate their rank by making street deals until reaching Hustler V. After achieving this milestone, visit the Warehouse and consult with Manny, who specializes in hiring skilled workers for a nominal fee. For the Chemist position, you will need to have $1,600 in cash, as they command a daily wage of $300.

Utilizing a Chemist Effectively

Schedule 1 Clipboard

Similar to other employees in Schedule 1, Chemists require explicit instructions before they commence work. Initiate the process by raising your Clipboard using the 9 key. From there, select a worker and designate a bed for their rest. Moreover, specific workstations must be assigned to the Chemists, which include:

  • Chemistry Stations
  • Mixing Stations
  • Lab Ovens
  • Cauldrons

It’s critical to understand that Chemists cannot transfer resources to certain stations on their own. To streamline their tasks, you will require Handlers who will load the necessary materials into the workstations, allowing the Chemists to begin their production.

Optimizing Chemist Operations for Maximum Production

Schedule 1 Mixing Stations

Mixing Stations are valuable assets for generating distinctive and high-value products in Schedule 1. If you’re aiming to maximize your profits, consider creating batches of a single product multiple times. However, keep in mind that automating this process can be a challenge. Here’s a step-by-step setup for achieving efficient mixing:

  1. Start by hiring one Chemist and one Handler.
  2. Procure up to four Mixers and additional shelves.
  3. After placing the Mixers, access your Clipboard and assign each Mixer a destination, ensuring the last one points to a shelf.
  4. Designate separate shelves for each Mixer, stocking each with a single resource type, such as an Energy Drink.
  5. Instruct the Handler to transfer items from each shelf to its corresponding Mixer.
  6. Finally, assign the Chemist to oversee operations across all Mixers to produce complex goods effectively.

If your Chemist is unresponsive, common issues include game bugs that can be resolved by restarting. Additionally, if you’ve unlocked new product types, the Chemist may not proceed until the products have been manually activated. It’s recommended to execute the setup manually during your initial run to ensure efficiency.
