Guide to Using the Pokemon GO RSVP Planner Effectively

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM PDT, Pokémon GO introduced an exciting new feature: the RSVP planner. This innovative tool is designed to assist trainers in coordinating with their friends and family for raids, particularly those challenging battles that are not meant to be tackled alone.

This article will provide a comprehensive guide on utilizing the Pokémon GO RSVP planner effectively.

The RSVP planner empowers trainers to see real-time information on when and where other players are planning to engage in raids. When trainers select a raid to join, they access a wealth of information, which includes:

  • Time Slots: Schedule your availability.
  • Invitations: Send and receive participation invites.
  • Reminders: Get notifications for scheduled raids.
  • Participant Count: Check how many trainers are joining.
  • Navigation Details: Get directions to raid locations.

The moment a raid egg appears in a Gym, players have the option to log it in their RSVP planner. This feature is especially useful for difficult raids as it allows trainers to see the number of participants across various time slots, facilitating better planning and coordination.

Moreover, users can review raids they have already scheduled, explore additional nearby raids to RSVP for, and set reminders to avoid missing out on any battles.

Inviting Trainers to Participate

One of the standout features of the RSVP planner is its capacity to allow players to invite up to five trainers globally for any given raid, including the notoriously tough Shadow Raids.

In honor of the RSVP planner’s launch, players can purchase a special Remote Raid Pass bundle, which includes two Passes, available for $2.99 (or local currency equivalent) in the Pokémon GO Web Store.

Current and Upcoming Pokémon GO Events

Trainers can currently utilize the RSVP planner for active Pokémon GO events such as:

  • Crown Clash and Crown Clash: Taken Over
  • 5-Star Raids featuring Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf
  • Mega Gyarados Raids

The planner will also be beneficial for the following upcoming events:

  • Shadow Regigigas Raid Day on May 17, 2025
  • Regirock Shadow Raids from May 17-18, May 24-25, and May 31 – June 1, 2025
